Position description:

 To manage the building’s 200 units, the coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Responding to the needs of building tenants in a courteous, prompt and efficient manner
  • Providing a high level of customer service
  • Renting out the building’s vacant apartments
  • Implementing an apartment rental action plan
  • Providing quality maintenance for clients and for the property’s spaces and systems
  • Managing rent collections and recording deposits as per the procedures in place
  • Working with the Real Estate Manager and the other team members to plan capital work and filing documents with the Régie du logement
  • Planning and optimizing tenants’ moves in and out of the building while upholding building security and occupant safety
  • Managing apartment renovations as per the program established by general management
  • Coordinating with the Real Estate Manager for work that requires a specific action plan

 


Qualifications required

Requirements:

  • Minimum experience of 1 to 3 years in a similar position
  • Knowledge of the real estate management sector
  • Excellent customer service
  • Demonstrated sales skills and an ability to close sales
  • Analysis skills and an ability to develop
  • Good organization skills and sense of initiative; demonstrated leadership
  • Functional knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electricity, EMP, etc.)
  • Monitoring, creativity and ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of Quebec laws governing rental properties (Régie du logement)
  • Oral and written bilingualism is MANDATORY
